Child Birth... The pain for love

If anyone has any comments about what i have said please leave comments, whether you agree or disagree i would love to find out everyones views and opinions.

Entry 1

I am a 18 year old student, i have never given birth but i plan to in the future. But one thing really annoys me is how alot of males believe that child birth is nothing! Just a "walk in the park". How can they say that! They havnt been there themselves, they get the easy way, just get in and get out. And the fact that they compare the pain to "being hit in the area" is redicoulios!!!!!! Ok it may be painful and it may make you feel sick, but really is it as bad a pushing something the size of a melon out of you!

There is a new programme begun on channel 4 called "one born every minute", that has made me really think about what women actually have to go through in order to form a bond with a little person you have never met before.

Today i expressed how this topic really annoyed me in a media lesson, as we were asked to think of something we thought passionatley about. My teacher is male and he also believes that child birth is nothing. However he may have been joking as the topic was brought up and he was a target for being male. However the majority of my class are female and so they agreed with what i had said.

Entry 3

Yesterday i spoke to my boyfriend about this topic and asked what he thought about it, of course he compared it to being kicked 'there' and said it was not as bas as everyone makes out. I have never been through the experience myself but how would he know!!! Hes male and will never be able to give birth!
I really to feel for the women who go through this pain to keep the human race going, and i wish to some day.
